Volunteer Lawyers Project/Volunteer
Lawyers for the Poor Foundation
The
Volunteer Lawyers Project is a partnership of the Cincinnati, Butler County,
Clermont County, Warren County, Clinton County and Highland County Bar
Associations with the Legal Aid Society of Greater Cincinnati.
Over
600 volunteer private bar attorneys offer pro
bono assistance through the Volunteer Lawyers Project (VLP) to provide
legal services to residents of Hamilton, Brown, Butler, Clermont, Clinton, Highland
and Warren counties. Services include
helping clients with adoption, divorce, visitation, housing, consumer debt,
probate matters, wills and representation in lawsuits.
The
Legal Aid Society provides the staff and administrative support to recruit and
train attorneys for the VLP.
